What is FCL shipment?

Full container load (FCL)
A Full Container Load (FCL) is an ISO standard container that is loaded and unloaded under the risk and account of one shipper and only one consignee, in practice it means that the whole container is intended for one consignee. FCL container shipment attracts lower freight rates than an equivalent weight of cargo in bulk. Ideally FCL means the container is loaded to its allowable maximum weight or volume. In practice, the FCL in the ocean freight does not always mean packing a container to its full payload or full capacity.

A Muatkan Kontena Penuh (FCL) adalah bekas ISO standard yang dimuatkan dan dipunggah di bawah risiko dan akaun satu pengirim dan hanya satu konsaini, dalam amalan ia bermakna bahawa bekas keseluruhan bertujuan untuk satu konsaini. Penghantaran kontena FCL menarik kadar tambang yang lebih rendah daripada berat bersamaan kargo pukal. Sebaik-baiknya FCL bermakna bekas dimuatkan ke berat maksimum yang dibenarkan atau kelantangan. Dalam amalan, FCL dalam fret laut tidak sentiasa bermakna pembungkusan bekas muatan penuh atau kapasiti penuh.

What is LCL shipment?

Less than container load (LCL)

Less than container load (LCL) is a shipment that is not large enough to fill a standard cargo container. The abbreviation LCL formerly applied to "Less than (railway) Car Load" for quantities of material from different shippers or for delivery to different destinations which might be carried in a single railway car for efficiency. LCL freight was often sorted and redistributed into different railway cars at intermediate railway terminals en-route to the final destination.

Less Than Carload or Less Than Container Load is "a quantity of cargo less than that required for the application of a carload rate. A quantity of cargo less than that fills the visible or rated capacity of an inter-modal container." It can also be defined as "a consignment of cargo which is inefficient to fill a shipping container. It is grouped with other consignments for the same destination in a container at a container freight station".

A system of transportation used in international trade, where various shippers pool their boxed goods in the same container.

Apakah itu penghantaran LCL?

Kurang daripada beban bekas (LCL) adalah penghantaran yang tidak cukup besar untuk mengisi bekas kargo standard. LCL singkatan dahulunya digunakan untuk "Kurang daripada (keretapi) Beban Kereta" untuk kuantiti bahan dari penghantar yang berlainan atau bagi penghantaran ke destinasi yang berlainan yang mungkin dibawa dalam kereta keretapi tunggal untuk kecekapan. Fret LCL sering disusun dan diagihkan semula ke dalam kereta kereta api yang berbeza di terminal keretapi perantaraan en-laluan ke destinasi akhir.

Kurang segerobak atau Kurang Beban Kontena adalah "kuantiti kargo kurang daripada yang diperlukan untuk permohonan kadar segerobak kuantiti kargo kurang daripada yang mengisi kapasiti dilihat atau rated bekas antara mod." Ia juga boleh ditakrifkan sebagai "konsainan kargo yang tidak cekap untuk mengisi bekas penghantaran. Ia dikumpulkan dengan konsaimen lain untuk destinasi yang sama di dalam bekas di sebuah stesen fret kontena".

Satu sistem pengangkutan yang digunakan dalam perdagangan antarabangsa, di mana perkapalan pelbagai menggembleng barang berkotak mereka dalam bekas yang sama.

C.             ISSUANCE OF PHYTHOSANITARY CERFITIFICATE FOR WPM-ISPM 15

The department of Agriculture (DOA) Peninsular Malaysia, recognized by the International Plant Protection Convention (IPPC)  of  the  FAO  as  the  National  Plant  Protection  Organization  of  Malaysia  is  the  authority  to  administer  the implementation of the International Standard for Phytosanitary Measures (ISPM) No.15.

To facilitate export of good using wood packaging materials from Malaysia, the DOA has decides on the following:-

i) Issuance of Phytosanitary  Certificate  is not requires for  treatment of wood  packaging  materials (because  only certified treatment providers are allowed to treat the WPM and to use the IPPC Marking). The marking on the WPM is sufficient to indicate that treatment has been done and the international community had agreed that a phytosanitary certificate is not required if the WPM is already marked. A Phytosanitary Certificate will only be issued if the exporter produces a letter from the plant quarantine authority of the importing country requesting for the phytosanitary certificate in addition to the marking.

If the consignment is a regulated article such as food item, fertilizer, household effects, furniture and  gunnysacks, inspection need  to be  carried  out for every  exportation  and  a phytosanitary  certificate will be  issued, unless  the exporter has been certified under the DOA’s Malaysia Phytosanitary Certification Assurance Scheme.

Treated Wood Packing Materials (ISPM 15) must be properly stored and wrap with plastic.   We cannot  warranty FUMIGANT shall fully immerse into every woods said as fumigation commodity.  We cannot warranty fumigation can eliminate  the  entire  pest or  pest  cannot  reemerge  from infested  material.    We  are  also  not  responsible  for  re- fumigation.
