1. Apakah yang dimaksudkan dengan racun makhluk perosak?
Racun makhluk perosak ialah racun makhluk yang meliputi semua racun serangga, racun kulat, racun rumpai, racun tikus, racun siput, dan racun makhluk lain yang digunakan dalam bidang pertanian, sektor kesihatan umum, sektor perhutanan dan yang digunakan dalam rumah.


2. Apakah Akta Racun Makhluk Perosak 1974?
Akta Racun Makhluk Perosak 1974 ialah satu undang-undang yang digubal bagi mengawal berbagai aspek yang berkaitan dengan racun makhluk perosak yang mana meliputi: -
i) pengimportan, pengilangan racun makhluk perosak melalui pendaftaran dan pengeluaran permit
ii) pengawalan, penjualan dan penyimpanan melalui kaedah-kaedah pelesenan
iii) pengawalan residu racun makhluk perosak dalam bahan makanan, melalui cerakinan dan persampelan hasil pertanian
iv) menjalankan penyiasatan berkaitan dengan kes-kes keracunan yang disebabkan oleh racun makhluk perosak
v) penguatkuasaan undang-undang berkaitan
vi) pengawalan iklan racun makhluk perosak di media massa
vii) pengawalan label racun makhluk perosak melalui Peraturan Perlabelan
viii) pengawalan pengendali kawalan makhluk perosak.


3. Apakah obkejtif/matlamat Akta ini?
Matlamat Akta adalah seperti berikut :-
i) mengawal perkilangan, penjualan dan penyimpanan racunmakhluk perosak di negara ini
ii) memastikan racun makhluk perosak adalah berkesan sebagaimana didakwa pada label
iii) mengawal pemalsuan racun makhluk perosak dari segi kandungan, kepekatan bahan aktif, kemujaraban serta lain-lain sifat yang terdapat pada sesuatu racun makhluk perosak
iv) mengawal residu racun makhluk perosak dalam makanan untuk kegunaan tempatan dan juga untuk eksport
v) mengawal bahaya racun makhluk perosak ke atas pengguna, pengendali, orang awam, ternakan, punca-punca air dan juga alam sekitar.


4. Apakah  peruntukan-peruntukan yang telah dilaksanakan di bawah Akta ini?
Peruntukan-peruntukan tersebut adalah: -
1) Pendaftaran racun makhluk  perosak
2) Pengeluaran permit mengimport racun makhluk perosak untuk tujuan penyelidikan pelajaran dan atau sebagai contoh atau piawaian cerakinan
3) Pemantauan residu dalam hasil pertanian
4) Penyiasatan ke atas kematian dan bencana racun makhluk perosak
5) Pengawalan iklan makhluk perosak
6) Pengawalan pengendalian kawalan makhluk perosak
7) Pengawalan label racun makhluk perosak
8) pengawalan semburan udara racun makhluk perosak.


5. Apa dia pendaftaran racun makhluk perosak?
la adalah suatu skim untuk mendaftarkan racun makhluk perosak yang diluluskan untuk diimport, dikilang, dijual dan digunakan di dalam negara ini yang dijalankan oleh Jabatan Pertanian di bawah arahan Lembaga Racun Makhluk Perosak.


6. Apakah tujuan pendaftaran ini dijalankan?
Skim pendaftaran racun makhluk perosak adalah bertujuan menentukan racun makhluk perosak yang dipasarkan adalah berkesan seperti mana didakwa oleh pihak syarikat yang mendaftar dan selamat dikendalikan dengan syarat segala garis panduan dan peraturan penggunaanya dipatuhi.

Pendaftaran juga bertujuan untuk memastikan racun makhluk perosak yang didapati di pasaran itu mengandungi perawis aktif tertentu dalam kuantiti yang betul seperti yang dinyatakan di label dan dalam perumusan-perumusan yang sesuai dan diisi dalam bekas-bekas yang sesuai dan berlabel.


7. Apakah yang dimaksudkan dengan racun makhluk perosak yang diluluskan?
la adalah racun yang pada pendapat Lembaga berkesan untuk tujuan penggunaannya dan secara relatifnya selamat untuk digunakan dan boleh dijual di negara ini dengan mematuhi syarat-syarat tertentu.


8. Apakah jenis racun makhluk perosak yang dikawal oleh pendaftaran ini?
Penguatkuasaan pendaftaran pada 1 hb. April, 1981 ini meliputi semua racun serangga, racun kulat, racun rumpai, racun tikus, racun siput dan lain-lain yang digunakan dalam bidang pertanian, haiwan, kesihatan umum, rumahtangga dan lain-lain. Oleh yang demikian lingkaran nyamuk, bahan pengewasapan, aerosol dan minyak yang digunakan sebagai racun serangga mestilah semuanya didaftarkan.


9. Bagaimana hendak tahu sama ada sesuatu racun makhluk perosak itu telah didaftar?
Suatu racun  makhluk perosak yang berdaftar mempunyai label yang membawa satu nombor pendaftaran (No. Pendaftaran LRMP.R1/..........) dan kenyataan-kenyataan lain seperti nama racun, kepekatan perawis aktif, kenyataan amaran dan aturan menggunakannya.


10. Bilakah tarikh penguatkuasaan?
Mulai daripada 1 hb April 1981 di Semenanjung dan 1 hb Januari 1982 di Sabah dan Sarawak, hanya racun makhluk perosak yang berdaftar sahaja dibenarkan untuk diimport atau dikilang, dirumus, dibungkus, dibungkus semula atau dilabel di Malaysia. Racun makhluk perosak yang tidak berdaftar tidak boleh dijual di pasaran tempatan.


11. Apakah hukuman mengimport dan mengilang racun makhluk perosak yang salah jenama atau tidak didaftarkan?
Bagi kesalahan pertama, seseorang boleh dipenjarakan selama lima tahun atau didenda sebanyak RM50,000 dan pada kesalahan kali kedua atau berikutnya boleh dipenjarakan selama sepuluh tahun atau didenda sebanyak RM100,000 atau kedua-duanya sekali.



12. Bolehkah anda mengimport racun makhluk perosak yang tidak berdaftar selepas tarikh tersebut?
Ya, boleh! Mengjkut Seksyen 14 Akta, seseorang dibenarkan mengimport sesuatu racun makhluk perosak yang tidak berdaftar bagi maksud-maksud pelajaran, penyelidikan atau sebagai contoh pendaftaran atau piawaian cerakinan sahaja. Walau bagaimanapun, beliau mestilah terlebih dahulu mendapatkan suatu permit daripada Jabatan Pertanian.


13. Apakah permit mengimport racun makhluk perosak?
Permit mengimport racun makhluk perosak adalah satu permit/kebenaran yang dikeluarkan di bawah Peraturan-Peraturan Racun Makhluk Perosak 1974 (Pengimportan Bagi Maksud-Maksud Pelajaran, Penyelidikan Atau Sebagai Contoh Pendaftaran atau Piawaian Cerakinan) bagi seseorang yang berhasrat mengimport racun makhluk perosak.


14. Apakah yang dimaksudkan dengan permit mengimport?
Permit import ini hanya dikeluarkan bagi tujuan Pelajaran, Penyelidikan atau sebagai Contoh Pendaftaran Atau Piawaian Cerakinan. Permit ini tidak dikeluarkan untuk membolehkan racun makhluk perosak diimport untuk tujuan jualan dalam pasaran tempatan. Bagi membolehkan se-suatu racun makhluk perosak itu dijual, ia mestilah di¬daftarkan terlebih dahulu dengan pihak Lembaga.


15. Apakah hukuman yang boleh dikenakan sekiranya melanggar peraturan ini?
Bagi kesalahan pertama, seseorang yang melang-gar peraturan ini boleh dikenakan penjara sehingga 6 bulan atau didenda sebanyak RM5,000, dan bagi kesalahan kedua dan seterusnya ia boleh dipenjarakan sehingga satu tahun atau didenda sebanyak RM10,000 atau kedua-duanya sekali.


16. Apakah yang dimaksudkan dengan residu racun makhluk perosak dalam makanan?
Residu racun makhluk perosak adalah merupakan lebihan daripada kuantiti/kadar/kekuatan atau kepekatan yang ditentukan bagi sesuatu racun makhluk perosak dalam makanan.



17. Kenapa residu racun makhluk perosak dalam makanan perlu dikawal?
Residu racun makhluk perosak dalam makanan perlu dikawal supaya kandungannya berada di paras yang selamat kepada pengguna.
Kawalan residu adalah juga untuk memastikan:-
i)     bahan makanan mengandungi residu racun makhluk perosak tidak melebihi paras yang ditetapkan oleh undang-undang.
ii)    keluaran hasil komoditi dapat diterima oleh pembeli-pembeli luar negari selaras dengan had maksimum residu yang  dtetapkan oleh pihak negara pembeli.


18. Bagaimanakah had residu racun makhluk perosak dalam makanan dikawal?
Kementerian Kesihatan bertanggungjawab terhadap residu racun makhluk perosak dalam makanan dan dikawal melalui Peraturan Makanan 1985 yang telah dikuatkuasakan pada 1 hb. April, 1987.





19. Bagaimanakah kandungan residu racun makhluk perosak dalam makanan ditentukan?
Pihak Kementerian Kesihatan mengambil contoh-contoh hasil pertanian sama ada dari ladang, pasar dan pintu-pintu keluar utama hasil pertanian bagi tujuan eksport. Contoh-contoh tersebut dianalisa di makmal Jabatan Kimia untuk mengesan tahap/ paras residu racun makhluk perosak yang terdapat. Sekiranya ia melebihi paras yang ditetapkan, komoditi-komoditi terlibat akan dimusnahkan oleh pihak yang berkuasa.

Jabatan Pertanian memberi kerjasama dalam menasihati petani tentang penggunaan racun makhluk perosak dengan betul, supaya petani memahami tempoh sebelum mengutip hasil yang perlu dipatuhi.Jabatan Pertanian juga membuat syor berkaitan had residu maksimum hasil pertanian kepada Kementerian Kesihatan.


20. Apakah hukuman yang boleh dikenakan sekiranya melanggar peraturan ini?
Mereka boleh didakwa dan jika bersabit dengan kesalahan akan dikenakan penalti di bawah Akta Makanan 1985.





21. Bagaimanakah Penguatkuasaan Akta Racun Makhluk Perosak 1974 dijalankan?
Bahagian Kawalan Racun Perosak sentiasa menjalankan pemeriksaan ke atas premis-premis yang mengendalikan racun makhluk perosak, kebun, ladang untuk memastikan segala peruntukan Akta dipatuhi. Selain daripada itu Bahagian Kawalan Racun Peorsak juga bertindak di atas laporan yang diterima dari mana-mana pihak bersabit dengan penguatkuasaan Akta ini. Orang ramai juga dapat membantu dalam penguatkuasaan Akta ini dengan memberi laporan serta maklumat mengenai pelanggaran mana-mana peruntukan Akta kepada Bahagian Kawalan Racun Perosak yang berdekatan.


22. Apakah tujuan mengadakan lesen bagi penjualan dan penyimpanan untuk jualan racun makhluk perosak?
Tujuannya adalah untuk: -
•       mengawal penjualan dan penyimpanan serta keselamatan pengendalian racun makhluk perosak
•       mengawal pencemaran racun makhluk perosak terhadap makanan, minuman dan alam sekitar


23. Apakah yang dimaksudkan dengan lesen dan jenis lesen yang dikeluarkan di bawah kaedah-kaedah pelesenan tersebut?
i)       Lesen Menjual Racun makhluk Perosak

Lesen ini dikeluarkan kepada penjual-penjual racun makhluk perosak. Pemegang lesen ini cuma dibenarkan menyimpan dan menjual racun makhluk perosak pada premis yang di-nyatakan dalam lesen sahaja.Satu lesen dikeluarkan untuk satu premis sahaja.

ii)      Lesen Menyimpan Racun Makhluk Perosak Untuk Jualan

Lesen ini dikeluarkan kepada penjual-penjual racun makhluk perosak yang menyimpan racun tersebut di premis selain daripada premis jualan. Pemegang lesen ini tidak di¬benarkan menjalankan aktiviti penjualan pada premis yang disebutkan di dalam lesen tersebut.


24. Siapakah yang layak memohon lesen di bawah Kaedah-Kaedah Pelesenan? Hanya syarikat-syarikat, pertubuhan perniagaan, koperasi-koperasi dan lain-lain badan/agensi yang didaftarkan di bawah undang-undang yang berkaitan di negara ini boleh memohon lesen tersebut. Permohonan atas nama perseorangan tanpa memenuhi syarat di atas tidak dapat diterima.


25. Apakah jenis racun makhluk perosak yang dikecualikan daripada mempunyai lesen?
Racun makhluk perosak yang disenaraikan di bawah ini adalah dikecualikan daripada mempunyai lesen: -
•        Bacillus thuringensis subsp israelensis serotype H-14 yang mengandungi 200 I.T.U/mg
•        Bacillus thuringensis subsp israelensis serotype H-14 yang mengandungi 1200 I.T.U/mg
•        Cecair (“s[pot on”) untuk mengawal sengkenit dan pinjal pada anjing dan kucing
•        Cecair penghalau nyamuk untuk pengewapan
•        Kelambu atau kertas yang diserapkan dengan racun serangga
•        Kepingan penghalau nyamuk
•        Lingkaran penghalau nyamuk
•        Losyen untuk mengawal kutu, pinjal dan hama pada anjing dan kucing
•        Penghalau serangga
•        0.5% atau kurang b/b serbuk permethrin
•        1% atau kurang b/b butir temephos
•       Relang leher untuk mengawal sengkenit dan pinjal pada anjing dan kucing
•        Sabun untuk binatang peliharaan
•       Serbuk untuk emngawal sengkenit dan pinjal pada anjing dan kucing
•       Syampu untuk mengawal kutu, pinjal dan hama pada anjing dan kucing
•        Tablet untuk mengawal lipas
•        Umpan lalat, lipas atau semut


26. Bolehkah anda menjual racun makhluk perosaktanpa lesen selepas kaedah-kaedah pelesenan dikuatkuasakan?
Tidak boleh!  Mengikut Seksyen 59 Akta racun makhluk perosak  1974, seseorang itu tidak dibenarkan menjual racun  makhluk perosak selain daripada racun  makhluk perosak yang disena¬raikan di bawah Perintah racun makhluk perosak   (Pengecualian) 1988, tanpa lesen. Seseorang itu mestilah terlebih dahulu mendapatkan lesen menjual racun  makhluk perosak daripada Lembaga racun makhluk perosak.


27. Berapakah bayaran permohonan memproses lesen tersebut?
Setiap permohonan dikenakan bayaran memproses mengikut kategori berikut:

28. Berapa lamakah tempoh lesen itu dikeluarkan?
Lesen tersebut dikeluarkan hanya untuk tempoh 3 tahun dari tarikh ianya dikeluarkan dan perlu diperbaharui sebelum tamat tempoh lesen. Untuk membaharui lesen, pemohon dikehendaki mengemukakan satu permohonan memperbaharui beserta dengan bayaran.


29. Apakah hukuman jika menjual atau menyimpan bagi tujuan jualan racun makhluk perosak tanpa lesen atau melanggar syarat-syarat yang ditetapkan?  Sesiapa yang menjual/menyimpan untuk jualan racun makhluk perosak   tanpa lesen, adalah melakukan satu kesalahan di bawah Seksyen 20(1) Akta Racun Makhluk Perosak 1974 dan boleh dihukum di bawah Seksyen 20 (4) A Akta tersebut. Penalti bagi kesalahan adalah seperti berikut:-
•       Bagi kesalahan kali pertama, boleh didenda sebanyak RM10,000 (Sepuluh Ribu Ringgit) atau 3 tahun penjara..
•        Bagi kesalahan kedua dan seterusnya, boleh didenda sebanyak RM20,000 (Dua  Puluh Ribu Ringgit) atau 6 tahun penjara atau kedua-duanya sekali.


30. Di manakah pemohon boleh mendapatkan borang permohonan lesen tersebut?
Borang-borang permohonan lesen boleh didapati di tempat-tempat berikut :-
a)     Bahagian Kawalan Racun Perosak Negeri
b)     Laman web Jabatan Pertanian


31. Apakah yang dimaksudkan dengan Peraturan Racun Makhluk Perosak Amat Berbisa?
Peraturan Racun Makhluk perosak Amat Berbisa adalah satu peraturan bertujuan mengawal serta menghadkan penggunaan beberapa jenis racun  makhluk perosak tersebut.

32. Di bawah peraturan ini apakah jenis racun yang dikawal?
Buat masa kini cuma tiga jenis racun  makhluk perosak yang dikawal iaitu:-
           i)      Paraquat dan campurannya
           ii)     Monocrotophos
           iii)    Methamidophos


33. Mengapakah racun makhluk ini dikawal?
Racun makhluk ini dikawal oleh sebab tahap keracunan atau kebisaannya yang amat tinggi pada manusia dan binatang apabila terdedah padanya.


34. Bagimanakah racun makhluk ini dikawal?
Terdapat beberapa peringkat pengawalan iaitu:-
i)     Hanya kedai-kedai yang tertentu sahaja boleh menjual racun makhluk perosak yang dikawal ini
ii)     Racun makhluk perosak jenis monocrotophosdan methamidophos hanya boleh dijual kepada pengusaha-pengusaha tanaman kelapa dan kelapa sawit sahaja
iii)    Ketiga-tiga jenis racun yang dikawal ini seki-ranya dijual, butir-butir urusniaga hendaklah direkod dalam format-format tertentu dan disimpan oleh pekedai-pekedai selama tempoh 3 tahun untuk tujuan pemeriksaan


35. Bolehkah seseorang itu memiliki atau menggunakan racun makhluk perosak yang tidak didaftarkan?
Tidak boleh.  Ia adalah dikawal di bawah seksyen 53A (1)(a) Akta yang berkuat kuasa pada 3 Mac 2005.


36. Bolehkah seseorang itu menggunakan racun makhluk perosak sembarangan?
Tidak boleh. Seksyen 53A(1)(b) melarang menggunakan racun makhluk perosak selain mengikut penggunaan yang dinyatakan pada label, sebagaimana yang diluluskan.


37. Apakah kesalahan di bawah seksyen 53A itu?
Sabitan pertama boleh dikenakan hukuman penjara selama setahun atau didenda sepuluh ribu ringgit dan sabitan kedua atau kemudiannya, dipenjarakan selama tiga tahun atau didenda dua puluh ribu ringgit atau kedua-duanya

What is a pesticide? Pesticides are pesticides that covers all pesticides, fungicides, herbicides, rat poison, snail poison and other pesticides used in agriculture, public health sector, the forestry sector and in use in the home.

2 What is the Pesticides Act 1974? Pesticides Act 1974 is a law enacted to regulate various aspects related to pesticides which include: -
i) the importation, manufacture of the pesticide through the registration and issuance of permits
ii) the control, sale and storage through the licensing rules
iii) the control of pesticide residues in food materials, through analysis and sampling of agricultural products
iv) conduct an investigation pertaining to cases of poisoning caused by pesticides
v) the enforcement of relevant laws
vi) the control of pesticide advertisements in the media
vii) the control of pesticide labels through labeling rules
viii) the regulation of pest control operators.

3 What are the objectives / goals of this Act?
 The aim of the Act are as follows: -
i) regulating the manufacture, sale and storage of pesticides in the country racunmakhluk
ii) ensure that pesticides are effective as claimed on the label
iii) the control of pesticides counterfeit in its contents, the concentration of active ingredients, efficacy and other characteristics found in a pesticide
iv) the control of pesticide residues in food for local consumption and for export
v) the control of dangerous pesticides on consumers, operators, public, livestock, water sources and the environment.

4 What are the provisions that have been implemented under this Act? Such provisions have gone through is: -
1) Registration of pesticides
2) Issue a permit to import pesticides for educational and research purposes or for example, or analytical standard
3) Monitoring of residues in agricultural produce
4) Investigation into the death and injury of the pesticide
5) Control of pests ad
6) Control of pest control operations
7) Control of pesticide labels
8) control of the air spray pesticides.

5 What is the registration of the pesticide? It is a scheme for the registration of a pesticide that has been approved to be imported, manufactured, sold and used in this country conducted by the Agriculture Department under the direction of the Pesticides Board.

6 What is the purpose of this registration done?
 Pesticide registration scheme is to ensure that marketed pesticides are effective as claimed by the company that registered and handled safely provided that the use of guidelines and rules are followed.

Registration ensures that pesticides found in the market that contain specific active ingredients in the correct quantity as stated on the label and in the formulation, the formulation of appropriate and fill in the appropriate containers and labeled.

7 What is meant by an approved pesticide? It is a poison that in the opinion of the Board effective for its intended use and are relatively safe to use and can be sold in this country to comply with certain conditions.

8 What kind of pesticides that are controlled by this registration? Enforcement of registration on the 1 st. April, 1981 will cover all pesticides, fungicides, herbicides, rat poison, pesticides and other snails that are used in agriculture, livestock, public health, home and others. Therefore mosquito coil, pengewasapan materials, aerosol and oil used as an insecticide must all be registered.

9 How to know whether a pesticide has been registered? A registered pesticide has a label which carries a registration number (Registration No. LRMP.R1 / ..........) and other statements such as the name of the poison, the concentration of active ingredient, a statement warning and order to use .

10 What was the date of enforcement? Starting from 1 st April 1981 in the Peninsula and 1 st January 1982 in Sabah and Sarawak, only registered pesticides are allowed to be imported or manufactured, formulated, packaged, packaged or labeled in Malaysia again. Pesticide is not registered can not be sold in local markets.

11 What is the punishment to import and manufacture of a pesticide that is misbranded or unregistered?
 For the first offense, a person may be imprisoned for five years or a fine of $ 50,000 and the second or subsequent offense to imprisonment for ten years or a fine of $ 100,000 or both.
12 Can you import a pesticide that is not registered after that date? Yes you can! Culture By Section 14 of the Act, a person is allowed to import a pesticide not registered for the purposes of education, research, or for example, registration or analytical standard only. 13 What is the permit to import a pesticide? Permit the import of pesticides is a permit / authorization issued under these Regulations 1974 Pesticides (Importation for Purposes-The Meaning of Education, Research Or For Example Registration or Standard Analyst) to a person who intends to import pesticides.

14 What is a permit to import?
 Import permits are only issued for the purpose of education, research, or as an example of the Registration Standard or Analyst. This permit is issued to allow imports of pesticides for the purpose of selling in the local market. To enable per-a pesticide is sold, it must be in ¬ register in advance by the Board.

15 What penalties can be imposed if the violation of this rule? For the first offense, a person who is anxious-gar this regulation shall be liable to imprisonment for up to 6 months or a fine of RM5, 000, and for a second and then it can be imprisoned for up to one year or a fine of RM10, 000 or both.

16 What is meant by pesticide residues in food?
 Pesticide residues is the excess of the quantity / rate / strength or concentration determined for a pesticide in food.

17 Why pesticide residues in food need to be controlled? Pesticide residues in food must be controlled so that its contents are at a safe level for consumers.
Residue control is also to ensure that: -
i) the food contains pesticide residues do not exceed the level prescribed by law.
ii) the product resulting commodity acceptable to foreign buyers lived in accordance with the maximum residue limits dtetapkan by the buyer's country.

18 How does the limit of pesticide residue in food controlled?
 Ministry of Health is responsible for pesticide residues in food and regulated by the Food Regulations 1985 which came into force on 1 st. April, 1987.

19 How does the content of pesticide residues in foods determined? The Ministry of Health to take samples from either agricultural farms, markets and the main exit doors for export of agricultural products. The examples analyzed in the laboratory to detect the level of the Department of Chemistry / pesticide residue levels found. If it exceeds the level set, commodities involved are destroyed by the authorities.

Department of Agriculture to cooperate in advising farmers on the use of pesticides properly, so that farmers understand the period before collecting the revenue necessary dipatuhi.Jabatan Agriculture also make recommendations related to the maximum residue limits of agricultural products to the Ministry of Health.

20 What penalties can be imposed if the violation of this rule? They may be prosecuted and if in connection with the offense will be penalized under the Food Act 1985.



21 How Enforcement of the Pesticides Act 1974 is being conducted? Pesticide Control Division carries out regular inspections on the premises that handle pesticides, farm, farm to ensure compliance with all provisions of the Act. 22 What is the purpose of holding a license for the sale and keeping for sale of pesticides? The aim is to: -
• controlling the sale and storage and safe handling of pesticides
• control pollution of pesticides on food, beverages and environmental

23 What is meant by the license and the type of license issued under the licensing rules? i) License Selling Pesticides

This license is issued to the sellers of pesticides. The licensee is only allowed to keep and sell a pesticide on the premises specified in the license issued to a license sahaja.Satu premises only.

ii) Pesticide Storage License For Sale

This license is issued to the sellers store pesticides that poison on the premises other than premises sales. The licensee is not in ¬ allow on-premises sales activities mentioned in the license.

24 Who is eligible to apply for a license under the Licensing Rules? Only companies, business organizations, cooperatives and other bodies / agencies registered under the relevant law in this country may apply for a license. Application on behalf of individuals without meeting the above criteria can not be accepted.

25 What types of pesticides which are exempted from having a license? Pesticides listed below are exempt from a license: -
• Bacillus subsp israelensis serotype thuringensis H-14 containing 200 ITU / mg
• Bacillus subsp israelensis serotype thuringensis H-14 which contains the 1200 ITU / mg
• Liquid ("s [pot on") to control ticks and fleas on dogs and cats
• mosquito repellent for the vaporization of liquid
• mosquito nets or paper absorbed with insecticide
• mosquito repellent plate
• Ring mosquito repellent
• lotions to control lice, fleas and mites in dogs and cats
• insect repellent
• 0.5% or less w / w permethrin powder
• 1% or less b / b grain temephos
• collar neck to control ticks and fleas on dogs and cats
• Soap for pets
• Powder for ticks and fleas emngawal in dogs and cats
• shampoo to control lice, fleas and mites in dogs and cats
• Tablet to control cockroaches
• The bait flies, cockroaches or ants

26 Can you sell perosaktanpa pesticide license after the licensing rules enforced? Can not be! Pursuant to Section 59 of the 1974 pesticide, a person may not sell a pesticide other than a pesticide that disena ¬ celebrate under the pesticide (Exemption) 1988, without a license. 28 How long is the license was issued?
 Licenses are issued only for a period of 3 years from the date it is issued and must be renewed before the expiry of the license. To renew a license, the applicant must submit a renewal application along with payment.

29 What is the penalty if you sell or keep for the purpose of selling pesticides without a license or violating the terms of the set? Anyone who sell / storage for sale of pesticides without a license, commits an offense under Section 20 (1) the Pesticides Act 1974 and punishable under Section 20 (4) A Act. Penalties for offenses are as follows: -
• For the first offense, a fine of RM10, 000 (Ten Thousand Dollars) or 3 years in prison ..
• For second or subsequent offense, a fine of RM20, 000 (Twenty Thousand Dollars) or 6 years imprisonment or both.

30 Where the applicant can obtain the license application form?
 License application forms are available at the following places: -
a) State Pesticide Control Division
b) Department of Agriculture Website

31 What is meant by the Pesticides Regulation is poisonous?
 Pesticide regulation is poisonous pesticides is a regulation aimed at controlling and limiting the use of several types of these pesticides.

32 Under these rules regulated what kind of poison? Currently only three types of regulated pesticides, namely: -
           i) paraquat and mixtures
           ii) Monocrotophos
           iii) Methamidophos

33 Why pesticides are controlled? This pesticide toxicity levels are controlled by reason or kebisaannya very high in humans and animals when exposed to it.

 There are several levels of regulation, namely: -

36 Can one use pesticides indiscriminately? Can not be. Section 53A (1) (b) prohibit the use of pesticides as well as the use stated on the label, as approved.
37 What is an offense under section 53A of that?

 The first conviction shall be punishable with imprisonment for a year or a fine of ten thousand dollars and a second or subsequent conviction, to imprisonment for three years or a fine of twenty thousand ringgit or to both.
