APA ITU FUMIGASI?

Fumigasi atau Pewasapan adalah salah satu kaedah dan tugasan kawalan makhluk perosak. Salah satu kaedah fumigasi adalah menggunakan racun Metil Bromida 98% atau 100%  (CH3Br) dan menggunakan racun Phospine (PH3).

Di Malaysia penggunaan racun ini adalah sangat terhad dan minimum serta di kawal selia oleh Jabatan Kesihatan Malaysia dan dibantu oleh Jabatan Pertanian Malaysia. Adalah satu kesalahan sekiranya penggendali racun ini tidak mempunyai lesen penggendali atau tidak mempunyai akreditasi oleh Jabatan Kesihatan Malaysia dan jabatan Pertanian Malaysia.

Kebiasaannya kaedah racun ini, hanya di gunakan untuk mengeksport dan mengimport barang dagangan, gudang / stor, rawatan kayu dan rawatan tepung serta silo.

What is Fumigation?

Fumigation or Fumigation is one of the methods and pest control work. One method is to use poison Fumigation methyl bromide 98% or 100% (CH3Br) and using poison Phospine (PH3).

In Malaysia, the use of pesticides is very limited and the minimum and supervised by the Ministry of Health Malaysia and supported by the Department of Agriculture, Malaysia. It is an offense if the operator does not have a pesticide operator license or not accredited by the Ministry of Health Malaysia and the Department of Agriculture, Malaysia.

Normally this poison method, only in use for exporting and importing goods, warehousing / storage, wood treatment and treatment as well as the flour silos.
